Pain

Frozen heart

Burnt sand

 Two lovers,

Destroyed by the other's hand.

Twisted lies,

Freeze and burn.

Love lost,

Allegiance turned.

Tears cried,

Things said.

True love found,

Yet both are dead.

One may crumble,

One may stand.

Both hopeless,

By death's hand.

If love were easy

To keep and find,

Life would be joyous,

And evil might be kind.

Yet the world is twisted,

The world scarred.

He is frozen,

She is charred.

May love be lost,

May live be gained.

Its a gamble,

But it always ends in pain.
