Who could have possibly described the pain that came                                      

When Jayden passed away?

Suppression came to get me the other day

I hope I could overcome my pain and be back one day

Where would I go and what would I see

That would get me back to the world, so free

Where I went was dark

Somewhere deep in my heart, I suppose

Lost sight of the future

Seen the past so clearly

Good and bad memories

Trying to break away from this…

Suppression

Changed my life

Changed my mindset

Changed my attitude

On the outside everything seemed to be fine

Wanting to let go of everything on the mind

But Suppression kept a strong hold

Couldn’t turn back now

It had me in a tight fold

Guess what suppression did

Turned me off emotionally

It felt like I was dead

My life was in such dismay

The pain would not go away

Finally, I stood up

And said what I had to say

Suppression, that friend

 I wrapped it in ribbon

And sent it astray

I came back knowing that,

My Life Would Never Be the Same
