The Pack

Hairy, furry, or bald,

Big or small or somewhere inbetween,

People are enthralled.

Dogs are amazing creatures after all

But they are more than that to me

My savior, my lifeline

She’s much more than just a pet

I am so lucky she is mine

My service dog started it

I fell in love with seeing her succeed

And now, I work so more dogs can feel

 such fulfillment in their lives

Sit, Down, Come, Heel.

Even just the basics gives us happiness

No longer do I wish for a job that understands me

The dog understands me.

My dog understands me.

My life is no longer grim

And I am no longer a victim
