Overworked

"Stop talking."

"Try harder."

"Hard work is the road to success."

DUE TOMORROW.

Skipping meals and skipping class

and you

wonder why.

I'll tell you why

Because of the

pile of homework that's

10 feet and counting.

work

Work

WORK

We wake up earlier than you do

and go to sleep later

never caught up

always behind

Were always close to the edge

Never far from the precipice

Many of us wander through

an endless land of struggle.

Every step that I take

is a paper you make

and you hand to me

another hour I spend slocked in my room

another hour off my life

No time to be a kid

A'int no time to go outside

Never ever breathing fresh air

Never seeing the sun

Help me

Help me

Pull me

Out of the quicksand

I'm sinking, suffocating

Work work work

with no end in sight
