Overworked

Location

I am so tired; I am so stressed

Just give me a moment, let me rest

My head on my arms on this wooden desk

"I want to sleep," is my only request

All of this homework, it needs to be done

No time for sleep, no time for fun

I signed up for these classes just to learn

But there's a chance I might crash and burn

I'm overworking without a job

It feels like my youth is being robbed

By the hands of expectations and obligations

It causes fights and severs relations

As a teacher, your main job is to teach

Not drain my stamina, just like a leech

So when I am tired, please give me a break

But when you start scolding, that's all I can take!

Away with the detentions for falling asleep

Why couldn't school just be 4 days a week?

No homework before tests, so I can study

If you can work this out, I'll be your new buddy
