Romans 12:11 

11 Do not lag in zeal, be enthusiastic in spirit, serve the Lord.

 

How to overcome your being

as you stray through Satan’s land?

Die to self ... but how to do it?

Be crucified with Christ in hand.

If your heart is found in “self-consider”

you are the devil’s prey.

Only being keenly alert

will protect you for the Eternal Day.

 

Matthew 10:37 New English Translation (NET Bible)

37 “Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me,

and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

 

Everything we’ve got from Adam,

our life, our nature and the like.

Must be denied in its total

for it is floating in the mire.

“He that loves father and mother more than God”

is not worthy of Jesus Christ.

With affection‘s natural disposition

your soul won’t change without a fight.

 

Luke 14:26-27 New English Translation (NET Bible)

26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother,

and wife and children, and brothers and sisters, and even his own life,

he cannot be my disciple. 27 Whoever does not carry his own cross

and follow me cannot be my disciple.

 

Even stronger seems the call

in the scriptures listed here.

It talks about hating: father, mother,

wife and  children and all that’s near?

Even your own life if a disciple

and you want to live for Jesus Christ.

But The Lord talks about the natural

for God is Love in me and mine.

 

All this shows without hesitation

is the attitude needed against our soul.

To stay away from its influence

if we want to be completely whole.

To deny our natural love

into God’s divine.

Can only be done for Jesus’ sake

and not for me and mine.
