Outdated Fear- Slams: What Would You Change?

Women are tricked into believing,

By beings who can never understand the fight

That is a sad part of being a lady. Being told

You will never be good enough, never important,

Never powerful, never intellegent.

Your choices will never truly be yours.

Your rights to your body?

Almost non-existent.

We are trained to accept this

From a young age, taught injustice as the norm.

But what justification is due?

Why can't society change?

Many understand the change that is long overdue.

The struggles from the past

Are no different than today.

So why isn't it clear

These outdated rules and norms may never go,

My biggest fear.
