Our Island

On a stranded island with resources abound

I would find myself alone on the ground

I would have the ability to survive off the land

But no one to hold in my hands

Never will I be in need of  a "thing"

Objects dont relieve loneliness' sting

No cellular service, no wifi, no cable

What good is a device that isn't able?

Food, water, and shelter to stay alive?

That's not alive, you would only survive.

To be alive you need someone to cherish

without that you'd survive, but also perish

You'd give up what it means to be living

That's why for this spot of one I am giving

To you Nicole, the love of my life

I'd spend forever alone with my wife

I'll make a nice place to live, forage and fish

The world is so stressful so i'll grant your wish

I'll make this place beautiful just for you

Welcome to the dream island paradise for just us two
