Our affections are a pilose kind of thing (9/23/13)

My thoughts of you are soft and fluffy

Both cool and pleasant like a spring breeze

and warm and sunny like those early fall afternoons.

Pillow like

High as the clouds

Free as a butterfly, wings still fragile

we're still a little bit afraid to fly,

but I'll risk fallling if I'm falling with you.

I get giddy thinking about you.

All smiles and daydreams

and sometimes I miss you

not quite an ache- but a feeling that I'm missing something

Thinking in the night,

watching the rain,

Listening to songs we shared together.

I'm not one to use the word love,

but our love is like a pillow-

comforting and soft, pressure free and...

us. Just us.
