Others and My Writings
I read the words that others wrote
And feel like pepper repelled by soap
How dare I float in their water
My words by theirs can only falter
Yet I cannot stop my pen from moving
As an act in which it attempts a proving
That something of my mind is worth
Something to someone more than mirth
How is my pen bolder than I am
Without my consent making a stand
If anything ever comes of my hand
It cannot be credited to a mind manned
