Opposites

 I'm by myself

But I'm not alone

I'm sitting in my bean bag chair by the window

And I'm dancing in a bright green field

I'm warm, dry and cozy

I'm cold, soaked and on top of the world

I rest my head on my pillow

I look up at the dark, gray sky

The ceiling  fan blows the fresh air from my open window across my face

Rain drops crash on my head

I'm smiling in my heart

A smile ripples on my face

I softly whisper, "I love him."He softly whispers, "I love you too."

I wrap the blanket around my shoulders

He wraps him arms around my waist

I snuggle into the pillow

Hw holds me tighter

A breeze comes in through the cracked window

He whispers into my ear

I long to be with him

I never want to leave his embrace

I want to be in his presence

I nveer want to leave him

I sigh deeply

He presses his lips against mine

I have to see him soon

We kiss in the pouring rain

I'm alone and wanting him near me

I'm with him and I couldn't be happier
