I looked around and I see myself as the only one

A minute minority representation in this field

But that doesn't stop me as I will continue

My insecurities don't have place in biomedical engineering

Because I'm going to save lifes

As a little girl I played doctor and arquitect

little did I know that my games were guiding to the career of my dreams

Why not gain the knowledge to save lifes?

I may not be in the front lines

But I will dedicate my life to finding the cure for the front liners to apply it

I don't need recognition, only the satisfaction to know

that I served the world in my little way
