The One Thing

If ever I should be

adrift upon the sea

alone without a phone

or anything to save me.

I'd hope that I could land

on an island spun with sand

my home away from home

built by my own hand.

The one thing I would bring

to insure my saving

is a bottle with a cork

in which a note would cling!
