One Smile at a Time

Location

Povery, war, hatred, greed.

Smiles fade as does bliss

In this life today, it is all we see.

If only I had one wish.

When tears outweigh the fall of rain

And the act of smiling becomes a myth,

When blood of a broken heart leaves stains

And the strongest has no more strength.

I will then be deemed a criminal

If trying to change is a crime.

I will proudly accept the label of cynical

For changing the world one smile at a time.

If I had one wish, I would wish for universal happiness. Enjoy.
