One man band

I could write your name in a poem but it would do us no good. Broken spilling syllables made up of July madness and winter wounds as we violently trudge past the end. An out of tune melody that once seemed so natural but I've since forgotten how to play. The loss of a life and a husband. Passages scribbled in purple ink across meaningless pages.
