One Day Our Time Will Come

One day our time will come;

We will never say that

Our lives were well spent

Have never truly known love

We can't say that we

Have never been selfish

But luckily,

One day our time will come

Unfortunately;

The love we thought was shared

Will be ripped away from us

One day our time will come

We hope it will be over fast

As we suffer away

slowly, slowly fading

Hand in hand with those around us

We slowly come to the realization;

Death will do us part

Forget;

Though we become paralyzed with sadness as we

Forget those who forgot us

We don't deserve it

One day their time will come

The pain we have suffered

Due to their actions

It is not fair,

But who said

It would be

The guilt and pain all around us

Forced down our throat

In pain we endured

It will soon all be over

Thankfully, one day

Our time will come;
