One Day

Thu, 09/25/2014 - 21:47 -- FawnK

One day.
I thought.
One day
You always said.
Always gave hope
For one day.
But was it worth it.
To throw away are one day.
To let me down again and again.
To sit there and know I wouldn't
when I looked up
And expected nothing less than to see
You
See you proud
Would you be proud to see me walk
Across that stage, to see me in a big dress
With all the makeup on my face.
A moment a minute
60 moments an hour
24 hours a day
365 days a year.
Where were you in all my
Moments
Minutes
Hours
Days
Years.
