One big break

To wake up every morning

to roll out of bed

a jewish kid from long island 

with only dreams in his head

I wanna make people feel

make them learn, make 'em cry

have them go to the movies

and give something new a try

Awards mean nothing

they're just symbols of fame

i wanna be bigger

be a household name 

Spreading the love

by doing what i love 

but i wanna be great

when push comes to shove

Movies they bring the hidden world to life

unsung heroes

and husband and wife

To act is to live

to suck the marrow out of being

its a miracle

its freeing

And just one chance

just one big break

would change my world

make my whole world quake
