One and the Same

What can you give those that cloak themselves in misdirection to hide their feelings within? How do you please a woman that treats her man as if all that he does is sin? I'll cut to the chase: the two questions are one and the same. I rock my brain for answers until I am insane in the membrane. Its a childish game nonetheless has been seen time and time again. In the eyes of man it is apparent that beating around the bush has become a favorite pasttime for the sirens of the world, and as we slowly realize that this is our only option, we too slowly slink back into the shadows, and bear an armor of deception to shield our pure intentions. We come unarmed and are thrust into battle facing deadly assumptions and dodging questions built on shaky foundations. Despite the odds, we are determined to break through enemy lines and take back what belonged to us both; the truth. However, we are not at war, in the heat of battle. We are in a room, locked in conversation. Do you remember what was first asked? What can you give those that cloak themselves in lies to hide their feelings within? If she gives up what she locked away, in return I give what she asks for. But the two are one and the same.
