Old Man
Holding chicken wings
Tiny hands fixing bike strings
I remember you
Old hands fixing gears
Callous and rough, old but strong
Still, like a statue
Riding roaring beasts
Don’t get burned on the tailpipe
Holding on to you
Ouch! Mosquito bites
Spraying bug spray makes me sneeze
Scare the bugs away
Your long scratchy beard
Santa Claus has come early
No presents in June
I’m lost, is this you?
My mistake. Hugged the wrong back
Stuck to your side now
I’m growing like rice
Absorbing knowledge from you
My faithful teacher
