Oh, Sweet Divine

Oh, sweet divine

For what reason shall you not be mine?

It's true I'm a clumsy fool

Tripping over words like uneven pavement

Now, I don't play by the rules

I'm known to be quite divergent

But I can show you I'm your kind

Oh, elysian lover

I'd care for you like a mother

And profess my love to the heavenly king

While signing the world over to you

Baby I'm not one for settling

When you deserve every ocean blue

Have you thought I could be your kind?

Oh, lovely wonder

How you drive me like rolling thunder

Am I qualified for your timely attention

Or will it come and go as a crack of lightning?

Into these words I compress my affection

Yet not even they can retain it, I'm finding

'Tis my sweetest blunder

Oh, sweet divine

Shall my heart intertwine with thine

In the lasting bond of eternity?

If I should fall to err once more

May the stars align accordingly

While we dance together forevermore

In the immortal bliss we shall find
