Oh Sunrise

Location

Oh Sunrise

What have you to say

To see the world turning

Every night and day

Oh sunrise, what miss you most

When below the line descend

and in your place a ghost

Oh Sunrise

What secrets pray you tell

To see the life of our whole world

I'm sure you know so well

Of life and love

Of loss and strife

For you see all that is in day

But never know the night

Do you wonder, oh Sunrise

What it is you miss

Well if you do, my beauty

I could surely tell you this

In Night there is Shadow

Skittering creatures and sleep

One must always be prepared

For secrets that she keeps

I think I know now, Sunrise

Why it is you run

To turn from what you are born to be

Into the setting sun
