Oh Say Can You See

Oh, say can you see,

The stress society puts on me,

By the dawn's early light,

Race wars and conflicts are our plight.

What so proudly we hail,

Because of indifferene is starting to fail.

At the twilight's last gleaming,

The homeless and hungry begin their dreaming.

Who's broad stripes and bright stars,

Mimmick those abused with emotional scars.

Through the perilous fight

We can start to make things right.

O'or the ramparts we watch,

As those who care begin to march.

Were so gallantly streaming

Through D.C., Detroit and towns in between.

And the rockets red glare,

Signs of hope in dispair,

The bombs bursting in air.

Silenced by people who care.

Gave proof through the night,

If Americans unite, we will be alright.
