Inspirations of stupidity

 

Stupid high school decisions are my dream

Making mistakes and failing, just for the meme

Jumping off of roofs into a pool 

Performing reckless stunts just to be cool

Weekend long ragers, in a cabin in the woods

And paying older brothers to buy us party "goods"

Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break, and early release 

During these times the parties never cease 

Life flourishes in the beauty of stupidity 

So blessed to reach it before I hit morbidity 

 

Stupidity allows us to learn and grow 

Experience joy before life deals it first blow 

Stupidity has allowed me to become who I am 

It allows me to destress the night before any exam

It allows us to fail and learn how to stand up 

Through stupidity, we are no longer moms buttercup 

Strength, Courage, Resilience it's taught me

Expanding my vision and letting me see life in 3D

Life flourishes in the beauty of stupidity 

  So blessed to reach it before I hit morbidity 

 

This poem highlights the beauty of stupidity; Many people don’t take advantage of this great gift of life. When we are young we have the freedom to make mistakes, then learn from those mistakes. This phenomenon has made me who I am and given me so much; Thus I feel it deserves the highest  praise.
