Ode for a Clinic
Ode to Depression
My clinical possession
That may instill obsession
Wear it like a winter coat
Thicker than a moat
Wish it could be my showboat
I must keep it close to me
Not for all to see
A secret so absence
Mustn’t Disturb
For it is the cure
My joy is close I am sure
Turns me into an actress
One with the best dress
Constant mail to the home address
This possession is mine
It makes me fine
So move on whilst we dine
This poem is about:
Me
