What is Poem?

It is the birth of a star

Shooting through galaxies of cosmic flirtation 

The Big Bang vibrating through every sense settling itself in vision and pictures 

Words unfurl astroids of perception flowing through universes filling space

The black hole filled with the unknown and unwanted experiences hurling through the other side of time to be born again

The glint in the night sky sending signals of liberation 

Venus in her beauty spinning circles around mars as it display its destructive nature unable to change its course

It is the discovery of life in far away places letting the Earth know we are not alone 

The thrill of seeing a shooting star 

and making a wish 

The cosmic dust that hitchhikes on moonbeams traveling through eternity and writing memoirs of its experience 

It is inside us igniting the ethos of imagination 

The hope of seeing sunshine warming hearts and minds 

It is the reflection of the oceans mirrored by the endless skies 

Reflecting back images of the tides

Flowing in and out 

Each wave holding tight to the next 

Foam beads of sweat emerge

As the work continues 

The sea calls to stars

To tell the tale 

A bedtime story filled with

Fables of Astrological adventures 

Raising age old questions

The answers to which lie In the wake 

The sands of time out of breath and weary run ever faster to catch up with the speed of light 

Each strand of luminescence is love, death and rebirth 

It is the astronomy of life
