The Ocean

Waves big and strong
Are the things I dream about
Holding me hostage in its frothy waters

Warm and safe
Hid from the world
A jewel precious and safe

People say the beach is just a place
I laugh because the beach is my home
Not just a "place"

The many shades of blue and green mixed together are my calming salve
When the world has chaffed away my calmness

The ocean with its many wonders can take you to many different worlds
Ones you can only read about in storybooks

The ocean is my safe haven
My home
I could live and die in the ocean
Forever
