NYC

I just want to get lost in the crowd

Walk amongst other beings

Amongst the whole, just an observer

just a small part of the eternal play

On a rainy day

Next to a cafe

I want to be nudged by a hand, belonging to a man,

Eager to get to his destination

Pushing me

Back to reality

Reminding me that I, too,

Am a part of the greater universe.

You see,

I've been disconnected for so ling,

I've functioned at the level of binding fear,

That I forgot

The essence

The sacred feeling

Of existance, of resonance

With life,

Nothing compares

To the ultimate source

The innocence of purity.

Bring it back

Bring it all back to me.

Let me be.

I want to go

To New York City.
