Our country’s beliefs are in dispute
Because of promises they refute
Because in 1774 this country gave us the privilege of pursuit.

13th, is the amendment that makes involuntary work unjust
The bald eagle should be a snake to show our government’s distrust.

Which explains the reason this country has the most people who give out prison calls.
No longer with a preference, they only require the FREE hands

On what our “education” budget was spent on last year.

8.3% of college students have private scholarships, but 71% have loans
But our government has 12,548,710.60 each for drones
To destroy homes
that force survivors to live alone.

1.1 trillion dollars spent to “fight a war” which was the distraction
To plunder oil and bring down opposing factions
But denied transactions
That left children without the knowledge of the subtraction of fractions.

9/11 are the numbers we’re supposed to never forget
So, our military can cause 9/11 everyday with little regret
And show a Sunni or Shi’a in our own country not even a little respect.

Make America great?
No, make America hate
Because I need a steak on my plate
The mindset our “president” and the senator of state.

He needs a wall
To stand tall
So, who does he call?
The IRS.

Because he needs 21 billion dollars
And blue collars
To build a wall instead of schools that erect new scholars.

They find new dollars, but our “national debt” is in the trillions
Combined student loan debt is in the billions
Which negatively affects millions.

As they continue to ignore pleas
From those on their knees
Being looked down on like fleas
As our government won’t even pay for the damages of the “strange fruits” that hung from trees.

To Americans, unity is the word
Which sounds absurd
But the state of our nation would make you believe this a word
That is without a doubt unheard.

One nation under god can only be achieved if we unify
Something that we have to try
And longer comply to the lie
Or the true “American Dream” will die.

We must come together as the true “Intolerable acts” will no longer fly
But if what was said sounds absurd
Remember, numbers never lie.
