Nowhere it is written ...

Hebrews 12:1 New English Translation (NET Bible)The Lord’s Discipline12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,we must get rid of every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and run with endurance the race set out for us,  Decide

Nowhere is it written, nowhere is it said

that I make decisions against my will.

Even in compromise, I satisfy desires

that surely brings death in a chosen overkill.

Others, however, may force me to do

what I consider strongly against my will.

Now all the excuses will fabricate illusions

that within my power I call a bitter pill.

Do I have to swallow what’s forced down my throat?

Do I have to taste the fragrance of decisions?

If they are right they may taste mighty sweet

but if they’re wrong they’ll make deep incisions.
