NOTICE ME…..actually…don’t.

You beautiful boy, how you shine so bright

Those beading eyes with a smile that brings everything to light

Sent from the heavens I believe this is right

Then I remember a girl like me would never be in your sight

When the warmth of your head laid on my shoulder

Ever since, even on the hottest days it feels colder

These feelings aren’t real, I keep telling myself

In fear of the words of rejection escaping your mouth

You walk into a room, trying to play it cool

So tall, so charming, gossiping beauties drool

Someone like me would never stand a chance

With someone like you with the checkered vintage pants

We are just friends, stop looking at me while I concentrate

On the pastors words to find answers for our fate

To be or not to be, I have no damn clue

One thing is for sure,

A girl like me

Could never be with

A boy like you
