Nothing

Cipher called once more to the shuffling crowds
Merely wanting a glance
A smile
A thought

But the robotic population ignored her
Not willing to spare a moment
To see the colors of friendship
The joys of life

Instead they filled their days
With grey
Work and struggle
A fruitless game
With no love
No life

Cipher wandered
Alone in her self
None to join her
None to see the light
Alone

So she is condemned
Until another comes
With similar shimmer
She waits

Quiet is the world
With no music
Sad without laughter
Lonely without love

None will stop
To smell the roses
To see their color
She weeps
For those of the lifeless population
Her own predicament

Days fall and nights rise
Life goes on without us.
