We must do something, while doing nothing
We yell to the crowds, by walking in silence
Even nothing, just being sparks the hatred
Doing nothing, we are harmless, yet they will harm us
And we must do nothing

If you stand up, you are shot down
If you speak up, you are shot down
If you act up, you are shot down
So you must do nothing

By this we cope, and stand for nothing
Hope for nothing
Expect nothing
Are treated like nothing

A man got up and spoke for something
People marched in peace for something
Children sang and cried for something
They all did, were, and received something

It took years, pain, and perseverance
To win their something
Even today they still fight for their something
So do not be or do nothing
And wonder why nothing changes
