Note To Self

Black butterfly tell me why you hide and try so hard not to be seen.

You shrink yourself down into a corner not leaving the house,

Avoiding people, hiding from the world, keeping out of the scene.

When you are beautiful, you don't have to be a size six.

Everybody is built different, there are somethings you can't fix.

Poor black butterfly trying so hard to fit in,

Spending money attempting to buy people,

Who don't want to be your friends.

Skipping meals to lose weight, wanting so bad to be thin,

But, that knid of life ends tragic, it can very well do you in.

Don't you know you're fine just the way you are?

You're like an angel whose graceful, like waters cascading down the side of a mountain.

Your heart is big, it pours out love onto others like a fountain.

So, love yourself, be who you are, spread your wings and fly,

Be true to yourself no matter what you do.

And always remember the only ones you must impress is God and you!
