[[NOT MY POV JUST AN EMPATH MOMENT LMFAO IM THE ONE WHO FUCKED UP IN THIS SCENARIO]]

from an early age, i

knew i was blessed.

i was the one in the

two story house with white carpeted stairs

the one that everyone was at

it doesn’t even need to be said,

that i sit at the top

my pale nimble hands tracing out the letters of

viral pinterest boards and group invitations alike,

striking a smile for the vlog camera,

behind the scenes, the glares i reserve for my parents

and people who have wronged me

do you know how it feels

to painstakingly gather all your loved ones together

only to have them occupied by their screens

and slip out while you’re asleep

without so much of a farewell

do they even- how could they

even care about me?

i say as i stare down at their drawing of my likeness

her innocent smile meeting my choked-back tears

Me
