Not knowing

Luke 6:39 New English Translation (NET Bible)

39 He also told them a parable: “Someone who is blind cannot lead another who is blind, can he? Won’t they both fall into a pit?

Satire

How can I teach my brother what I’ve never learned before?

How can I be an expert on what is far beyond my grasp?

How can I see clearly with my eyes completely covered?

How can I communicate the truth when my life appears a lie?

Why do I want folks to follow when I don’t know where I’m going?

Why do I want them to hang on to what I let go long ago?

Why do I strain my eyes looking back to where I came from?

Why do I drink all bitterness and call it apple pie?

I need to know the answers, I need to know my purpose.

It needs to be what makes sense to me when my eyes are closed.

So special is my calling when flowing through my mind,

that it seems to build on only pride as I get overdosed.
