One day the world will change

I've wiped off all the makeup

Uncovered all my scars

I realize now that what's on your skin doesn't define who you are

My makeup, blemishes, and acne have never meant a thing

It's what's on the inside that truly makes the change

I can change the world, and allow it to see

My dimples, weight and shoe size shouldn't label me

Those names they used to call me that made me feel depressed

I'm learning to ignore them because they're only lies at best

Today is #nomakeup day along with all the rest

I'm never changing who I am
