Nobody Remembers

What if nobody remembers my name one day

no more than just a face on a page

to forget

shouldn't be so hard

but as fast as I run it's never far

enough

memories still sneak up on me

long after it's over

unwelcome ghosts I can't control

what they will see

once I'm gona they won't

remember

my face anyway

for me.
