No One Thinks of Changing Themselves

“What would you change?”

When I was younger, my entire class was asked this exact question

As you can imagine the typical answers were to end world hunger, poverty and to diminish all pain from the Earth

I remember saying something along the lines of that as well

 Now,

I would change the way people view themselves and others

Leo Tolstoy once said, “Everyone thinks of changing the world, no one thinks of changing himself.

This shouldn’t be to the point of self-criticism

Not to the point where you overanalyze a small act that those like myself do

However if more people, examples being heroes in a story, looked at the way they handle or approach situations it can be seen

So clearly seen

That so many disasters could be prevented by such a simple act

That many times you play part in your chaos
