How I love the night
Darkness surrounds me
Cloaking me in a deep sheet of stars
A mysterious never ending shadow
An intoxicating view with brilliant stars
The feeling it gives is everlasting
It cradles me in its sweet caress
In the crisp night air sends chills through my spine
The beauty is all around me shown only by the moon and stars’ light
Crickets’ chirps are all that pierce the peaceful night air
Under the night sky I feel most at one with the world
The night is truly enchanting
Filling my soul as we embrace
The night is not a stranger to me but a friend
He fills my soul with joy, serenity, and happiness
He makes my heart lighter than air
The night gives me hope
How I love the Night
