Never Missing Something More

Location

Never Missing Something More;
Wiping blood and glass from the floor.
Not to mention those sunken dreams,
Which crawl and scratch inside my skin.

Never regretting something less;
Take my curse and say I am blessed.
Not to speak; just to appear
Like everyone else all smiles and cheer.
Never seeking something new;
Simply survive, simply make it through.
Not to branch to find your peace,
To pray somehow to find release.
Never expecting a list'ning ear
To come too close, to call you Dear.
Not to let words slip from lips,
Although truth inside - it tears and rips.
