Never Ending Hellos

Hello -

To the cat, his emerald eyes sparkling pure wit as he eyes the cabinet where his kibble is kept.

My voice, it's breaking, shattering the glass of silence like the Cubs did in 2017.

Old cherry tree, I scaled your wisdom and rose above my childhood, just five short minutes.

Budget, goodbye along with my healthy eating and maybe my sanity.

Music, oh, how you sooth my soul like honey to a hangry bear - you always say what I can't.

Home, good to see you after a long day's eternity, glad you haven't changed.

Myself, my heart. How you been, buried under this cracked shell of new light and fire.

You. I hope this small look into my mind provided an answer or two.
