Never Again

We did it before,
Got lost in each other's eyes.
The first seemed real,
For quite some time.
It was lovely, really,
How we took to each other.
Like a divine pairing
One might see in a movie.

You were perfect to me,
But it wasn't meant to be.
We tried and tried,
Numerous times.
Plenty of hard feelings,
Though you asked if there not be.
You tore me apart,
piece by piece.
You broke my heart,
How do you do it?

You were cruel each time,
Yet when you'd come back..
I'd always seem to gravitate
And get sucked in again .
Back into your little love trick.
Your mind games.
Your magick.
Your sick little fantasy,
Where no matter what you do,
I always seem to love you.

Now I've come to the conclusion ,
That you are bad for me.
Everyone would say,
I just never listened.
Well I'm listening now,
And I'm leaving for good.
I'm done with your sick love,
And I'm never coming back.
