Neither light or shadow
The scales of light and shadow's grace,
A dance of yin and yang's embrace,
A concept old, it holds its sway,
Yet leaves me lost, in disarray.
No saintly glow, no wicked stain,
No righteous joy, no vengeful pain,
A hollow shell, where feelings cease,
A moral compass, finds no peace.
No guiding hand of heart or soul,
No whispered urge to make me whole,
Just empty space, where choices lie,
A void that stares, with vacant eye.
No good, no ill, no guiding thread,
A different breed, it fills me dread,
This absence deep, this empty core,
The truest fear, I can't ignore
