Negative Change

My daddy owns a forest

The trees there are super tall

Squirrels and dear and rabbits live in it

I explore all the time

I often play in the woods my dad owns

I think there are a gazillion pine cones

When I play in the creek I wet my socks

I’m not good at jumping across rocks

Many large trees cover my fathers land

This place will one day come into my hand

I often wonder what I’ll do with it

But I can’t share plans or he’ll have a fit

Housing development replaced woodland

Because economy increased demand

Selling buildings greatly supports surplus

Simple nature became metropolis
