Nature's Day

It has a call,

that lures us all,

with the beauty it does portray.

And the wealth of men,

can never begin,

to amount to nature’s day

The day begins

with the life of winds

forever they will blow.

They sweep with a grace

and a steady pace

that makes the oceans roll

The waves will tumble

as they do.

And on the ocean shore,

a boy will stand

with stone in hand

and throw it to the roar.

And while he throws

the night will glow

upon the midnight mount.

And the lone wolf descends

to the valley binds

to search, for what they stole.

And he who stole

searches the arctic pole

in the ice and for the light.

and what he finds

seems to bind

him to the arctic sight.

While in the sight

of nature’s light

what beauty it does portray

and the wealth of men

can never begin

to amount to nature’s day.
