Natural Hair

Soft as cotton, Black as charcoal
Intertwining curls making rough tweaking music
The sound of dry bristles
Yet fluffy to the eye
Having a mind of its own
Uncooperative, stubborn, and hard headed
I hate you, I love you
In the end we make it work
3a, 3b, 3c
Fully well rounded like a lions mane
Lays down with picture perfect definition
4a, 4b, 4c
A life-size pillow
Undefined curls, microscopic to the naked eye
Mushed together as one
Unable to visualize its individual beauty
But black is beautiful
Regarding a hair pattern or texture
Through its diversity and versatility
