No filter and no makeup, I feel naked

It's hard to admit, I'd rather fake it,

Pretend like I'm okay,

With the small acne scars on my face,

The way all my hairs don’t naturally fall into place,

The plainness that is me, is something I’d rather not see,

But, with this thinking process i disagree,

I should feel free, free to be,

Make up free,

Filter free,

Free to exhibit the naturalistic beauty that is me.

Because if I look like them and they look like me,

And we all have the same filters, the same lipstick, then you will all have the same news feed.

Where would be the creativity?

 Forsaken, our distinctiveness taken.

By our fear of being naked.
