My Treasure

In the desert all alone

I see not one soul

Walking through the sand

This might drive me mad.

But At least I have my kindle

For without it my life will dwindle

It is my life and soul

without it my heart is not whole

It holds my secrets, desires and wishes

It hold the key to my personal Olympus

It is my most important treasure of all

I could think of nothing better

If I were to die

My kindle would be by my side

I would never let it go

For then my true colors would show

But my kindle is not evil

But when people try to take it I get uncivil
