To my Step Father

You knew me from age two

I was so little and cute

I stole your heat away

At age six I gave you a chill when I fell down

For my arm had been broken

At age thirteen what a handfull I was

A teenage girl with so much love

At age fifteen you watched my heart break

the worst pain I had felt yet what a mistake

Now I am eighteen with plenty to say

I made some mistakes

but for you, you never went away

You have loved me from the start I do know,

You have loved me from day one and our love it still grows

To the end of time I know I can count on you

for you are like my father

And I would like to give so much thanks to you

For being there and never leaving

You are an amazing man

Now that, It comes from the heart
